The Story & Mission Behind LYV

LYV is not simply a café. It grew from a story that began very early in my life.

As a child, I was often ill. I had to take many medications, but instead of truly feeling stronger, I increasingly felt as though my body was falling out of balance. Back then, of course, I could not fully understand it. I only knew: something does not feel right.

My grandparents had a beautiful garden in Romania. Green, vibrant, full of herbs and plants — and the kind of knowledge that often does not come from books, but is passed down from generation to generation.

One day, my grandmother took my hand and said to me: “You are not a sick child. We will make you strong again.”

She began gathering herbs from the garden and preparing teas for me. I drank them all summer long. And by the end of that summer, I felt noticeably better.

That moment changed something in me.

For the first time, I sensed that our body is not separate from what we eat, drink, feel, and experience every day. That nature often holds far more than we give it credit for. And that health does not begin only when something stops working — but in the small things with which we nourish ourselves each day.

From that experience, a deep curiosity grew over the years.

I began exploring nutrition, plants, nutrients, digestion, hormones, stress, and the interplay between body and lifestyle with growing intensity. I tried many things myself, questioned trends, gathered experience, and wanted to better understand why the body responds the way it does.

Later, this curiosity became my professional path. I completed training and further education in integrative nutrition, TCM, nutritional psychology, micronutrients, hormones, and naturopathy. Today, I also guide people in individual nutrition coaching to better understand their bodies, recognise connections, and experience nutrition again as something that strengthens, nourishes, and feels good.

Because for me, nutrition is never only about what is on the plate.

It is about how we feel. How much energy we have. How well we digest, sleep, think, and recover. How our body handles stress. How connected we are to ourselves. And how much trust we can rebuild in our own body.

It was from this connection that LYV was born.

I wanted to create a place where people can find calm. A place that does not feel like deprivation, pressure, or perfection — but like pleasure, warmth, and genuine quality. A place where healthy eating is not complicated or boring, but beautiful, modern, nourishing, and incredibly delicious.

At LYV, every drink and every dish is created with intention. With every recipe, I ask: What can support the body? Which ingredients truly make sense? How can we combine pleasure and function so that it feels light, natural, and special?

That is why we work with carefully selected ingredients, avoid refined sugar and refined seed oils, and focus on the highest quality — homemade and consciously combined.

Every shot, every smoothie, every matcha, every cacao, and every small dish should be more than just a product. It should be a small ritual. A moment to step out of everyday life, arrive within yourself, and give your body something that truly nourishes it.

LYV stands for Longevity, Youth, and Vitality.

But for me, above all, it means living more consciously, understanding your body better, and reconnecting health with pleasure, intuition, and naturalness.

My mission is to bring people closer again to their body, to nature, and to themselves.

LYV

LYV is exactly that connection.
